Dr Jordan in the LensCrafters did my eye exam and contact fitting. She gave me a trial pair to try for a few days and sent me on my way. I did not like these and continued to use my current contacts until they ran out (2.5 months). Upon reordering, the contact company called the office and they told them I didn't have a prescription on file. I called Dr. Jordan's office and they stated that I had to come back in for a new fitting since it was over the 60 days since my last fitting. This is absurd! I paid $55 for a fitting that I never received. I called insurance and recommended they retract the payment made to her due to lack of ANY KIND OF SERVICE!! I came in for contacts and left with nothing except for $65 less in my pocket! They want me to pay another $55 to get another exam instead of having me just come in for a fitting. Do NOT go here, they will charge you for services and then deny your prescription when you need it!

LensCrafters is not a busy location here in Pensacola. They are always sitting around doing nothing but collecting hours on the company clock. How do I know this? Well,..... I work in the mall everyday and I can tell you first hand. The doctor always complains about not having any patients and loves the food court. I wonder why,......hmm...... lets see,.....just read all the reviews. This company is a national chain store. If you have a problem you can hang it up. This reveiw was obviously written by an employee. Seriously, why would a customer say they are the busiest store and that Sears and Pearle are owned by the LensCrafters company. This is not common knowledge!!! HELLO!!!!!! They were only trying to improve the very poor ratings that they have been recieving by all their customers. So, nice try whoever you are at LensCrafters trying to cover up your poor business practices. I always recommend a local company first over any of the national chain stores. Especially when it comes to eyecare and your eyes. So, find a good locally owned and operated company.

Had eye exam and ordered new glasses on 9/22/09. New glasses picked up on 9/28/09. During fitting for the glasses stated that I could not see clearly. Was told to "wear the glasses for a couple of weeks to give your brain time to adjust." Took the glasses home but realized the explanation was ridiculous and went back the next day. On this visit I was told that on the day I ordered the glasses there "was a glitch in the computer system and the ordered prescription was reverted to the old prescription and the glasses had to be reordered." The glasses would have to be reordered. Emailed Customer Service about the problem and received an email that someone would contact within the next 3 Business days.Received a call from the store General Manager saying nothing cold be done to expedite this order and that she was going on vaction at the end of the day. Hung up totally frustrated. Called on 10/7 to see if the reordered glasses were in. Was told the glasses were in and were being worked on. Received a call later that there was a problem and the glasses would have to be reordered. ANOTHER 10 DAYS. Told them NO THANK YOU and I wanted my money back. Went to the store and received my refund. However they even had the nerve to charge me for the lens cleaner I had purchased on 9/22. These people could care less about the Customer. I did get the name and phone number of the CEO and called and left a message. I doubt if anything will come of it since they do not even have an "800" number for Customer Service. I think I can figure out why. I warn everyone to avoid this company or any of its affiliates. I rated this a one star only because there wasn't anything lower.

The supervisor was totally snotty. When it was clear I wasn't shopping for the most expensive frames she had no time for me and tried to convince me that the frames I had seen on line aren't carried in all the stores. Any questions about cost had to be answered by the regular staff person, who did try to be helpful. However, the supervisor kept making discouraging remarks about how long everything would take so I finally gave up and just left.

The worst eye exam I ever had. I felt rushed and I had told them I was a diabetic and I did not receive the diabetic eye exam test, the one my physician was concerned about. When I went to pick up my new glasses they just gave them to me didnt even align them or to see if I could see through them. So I had to the next day take them back and I had to drop them off and wait for the new prescripions, again. I was not impressed at all and I will never go back to them.
